The Pargest dynasty originally hailed from the Westfold, where they had managed to organise an efficient fief. When Severian Pargest was granted power on Lethinus Prime, the Westfold Marches were given to him as his hereditary property. A later Pargest managed to obtain tithe exemption for the Westfold, further strengthening the power of the dynasty, as the region was now held in allodium. The private fief of the Pargests is a region of rolling hills, pleasant meadows, coupled with a number of the finest emplacements that credits could buy. The civilians living in the Westfold have been used to absolute fealty to the Pargests, and followed Tullius willingly into heresy and secession; now the Westfold Militia fight to liberate their planet from the Imperium, the lackeys of Chaos and the rampaging Orks.
